H.E. Waleed El Khereiji, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, met Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan H.E. Fariz Fikrat Rzayev.

During the meeting, the second round of political consultations was held between the governments of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan, during which ways to enhance joint cooperation in various fields were discussed.

In addition to intensifying bilateral work and coordination to achieve the aspirations of the leaders of the two friendly countries, and discussing the most prominent regional and international issues of common interest.

The round of consultations was attended by the Kingdom's Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah bin Khudair, and the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom, Mr. Shahin Abdullayev.​
