The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its strong condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist attack that took place on Tuesday August 9, 2022, in the Bam province, north of Burkina Faso, which resulted in the killing of 15 people from the defense and security forces and the injury of others.
The Ministry offers its condolences to the families of the victims, the government, and the people of Burkina Faso, and wishes all the injured a speedy recovery.
The Ministry also reiterates the Kingdom's position of rejecting violence and extremism in all its forms, and motives.
