The third round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of the Netherlands kicked off, on December 1, 2022, in the Dutch capital, The Hague. The Saudi side was chaired by His Excellency the Deputy Minister for Political Affairs Ambassador Dr. Saud Al-Sati, and from the Dutch side, His Excellency the Director-General for Political Affairs, Mr. Marcel de Vink, and in the presence of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Mr. Ziyad Al-Attiyah.
During the talks, ways to enhance cooperation between the two friendly countries in various fields were discussed, and views were exchanged on a number of regional and international issues.
On the sidelines of the visit, the Deputy Minister for Political Affairs also met with His Excellency the Foreign Affairs and Defence Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Geoffrey van Leeuwen, during which they discussed a number of issues of common concern.
