The first consultative meeting was held within the framework of the Political Coordination Committee between the Kingdom and Bahrain, chaired by the HH Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and H.E. Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani, Foreign Minister of Bahrain.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and stressed the congruence of views on all regional and global issues of concern to the two Kingdoms.
The two sides stressed the importance of continuing to support and develop coordination in this field and work to crystallize positions on regional and international issues of concern to the two countries.
They also stressed the importance of strengthening joint Gulf action in a way that benefits the countries and peoples of the region with security and stability.
The meeting was attended by the Kingdom's Ambassador to Bahrain HRH Prince Sultan bin Ahmad Al Saud, Deputy Minister for Political Affairs Amb. Dr. Saud Al-Sati, and the Director-General of His Highness Office, Abdulrahman Al-Daoud.
