HH Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan H.E. Rashid Meredov in the Saudi-Turkmen diplomatic symposium on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of relations between the two countries.
At the Institute of International Relations of the Turkmen Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and with the participation of the Prince Saud Al-Faisal Institute, where H.H the Foreign Minister delivered a speech.
In which he thanked the Institute of International Relations for holding the symposium in conjunction with the Kingdom and Turkmenistan's celebration of 30 years of establishing relations.
His Highness the FM stressed the ties, the consensus in the common outlook, aspirations and interests. His Highness praised the efforts of the Saudi-Turkmen Joint Committee, describing them as the nerve of developing & activating political & economic relations between the Kingdom & Turkmenistan.
His Highness the Foreign Minister pointed out that the region has witnessed during the past three decades many political events and tensions that have had an impact on the international scene, yet the Kingdom and Turkmenistan have been able to maintain a strong and strong relationship.
After that, His Highness toured the institute during which he listened to a detailed explanation of the history of the institute and the mechanisms it provides for the graduation of Turkmen diplomats.
