H.E. Adel Al Jubeir, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Member of the Council of Ministers and Envoy for Climate, met with the Member of the European Parliament and Chairperson of the Sub-Commission on Human Rights, Ms. Maria Arena, on the sidelines of Her Excellency's visit to the Kingdom of Belgium.
During the meeting, they reviewed the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the European Union related to the promotion of human rights, and discussed aspects of cooperation and joint coordination in this regard, especially in light of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, in addition to discussing the most prominent regional and international issues of common interest.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the European Union, Saad Mohammed Alarify.
