H.E. Adel Al Jubeir, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Member of the Council of Ministers and Envoy for Climate, held a meeting with the European Union Political and Security Affairs Committee (PSC) chaired by the Chairman of the Committee, Ambassador Delphine Pronk, with the participation of the Managing-Director of Middle East and North Africa, Ms. Helene Le Gal, and several members of the committee.
During the meeting, they reviewed relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the European Union and ways to strengthen and develop them in all fields and in light of Vision 2030, in addition to discussing the most prominent regional and international issues of common interest.
The meeting also touched on the issue of preserving the environment, confronting climate change, energy issues, and the Kingdom's tireless efforts towards preserving the environment and reducing climate change locally, regionally and internationally, including the "Saudi Green" and "Middle East Green" initiatives.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the European Union, Saad Mohammed Alarify.
