HRH Crown Prince, Egyptian President Hold Bilateral Meeting, Expanded Discussions Session

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, met today with Egyptian President Abdelfattah El-Sisi at Al-Ittihadiya Palace, in Cairo.

Upon arrival at Al-Ittihadiya Palace, HRH Crown Prince was received by President El-Sisi.

An official reception ceremony was held for the Crown Prince.

The Crown Prince shook hands with ministers and senior officials in the Egyptian government, while President El-Sisi shook hands with the princes and ministers of the accompanying delegation.

HRH the Crown Prince and President El-Sisi posed for commemorative photos.

Later on, HRH the Crown Prince and President El-Sisi held a bilateral meeting and an expanded discussions session.

The Egyptian president welcomed the Crown Prince to his second country, where the Crown Prince expressed appreciation for the warm welcome and hospitality he and his accompanying delegation have received.

The Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to President El-Sisi who, in return, asked the Crown Prince to convey his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

The two sides reviewed the strategic bilateral relations between the two countries and means necessary for their development in all fields, in addition to discussing several issues in the Arab and Islamic arenas and the latest developments in the Middle East and efforts exerted to reach solutions to them, mainly discussing issues related to the security and stability of the region, counter-terrorism, and coordinating efforts to enhance the joint Arab action.

The meeting was attended by senior officials accompanying HRH Crown Prince and senior officials from Egyptian side.​​
