The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Da’wa and Guidance has Completed the preparations to participate in the activities of the 28th session of the National Festival for Heritage and Culture.
 
Assistant Undersecretary supervisor of the wing Mr. Salman bin Mohammed Al-Amri, expressed his happiness that Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Da’wa and Guidance continue to participate in the festival every year, pointing out that the festival reflects the history and the story of a nation's struggle for over a century, and highlights it present, progress and development under wise leadership concerned about the development and  prosperity of the kingdom while maintaining its religion, values, authenticity and originality.
 
He also  said: The festival proves the Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques' concern in preserving, collecting and presenting the heritage of the Kingdom, as well as featuring its civilization and its cultural and scientific roots, noting the development the festival witnessed on an intellectual and cultural level, through the participation of intellectuals, scholars, , and writers, from all over the Arab and Muslim world, to become a universal event that specialists in historical and cultural affairs and heritage from all over the world yearn for.
 
Mr. Al-Omari stated that the Ministry of Islamic Affairs wing in the festival contains many corners and sections, including pictures and sculptures corner, and a another that includes a number of models for mosques and Islamic centers projects inside and outside the Kingdom, beside a presentation of some ancient manuscripts. The wing also includes a special corner for King Fahad's Complex for The Printing of The Holy Quran, show casing various sizes of copies of the Quran, printed in the complex, and translations of the Qur'an in several languages with display images representing stages of printing the Holy Quran.
 
There will also be a corner for the ministry's publications like  books and pamphlets, Gifts and a number of Qurans in various sizes, and recited and translated Quran to various languages will be distributed among visitors of the wing.
 
A series of introductory and awareness films will be displayed to the visitors of the wing, as well as a range of books, pamphlets, magazines, and audio tapes designed to educate people, and to enlighten the public on terrorism, extremism, and how to confront and deal with them, and the threat they impose on the security of our homeland. In addition to films showing the role of the ministry in the consolidation of moderation and renunciation of extremism.
