H.E. Adel Al Jubeir, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Member of the Council of Ministers and Envoy for Climate, met Under-Secretary-General of the UN and Executive Director of the UN's Environment Programme, Inger Andersen
During the meeting, they discussed aspects of enhancing cooperation between the two sides, in addition to discussing topics related to the environment and climate change, including the initiatives of Saudi Green and the Middle East Green.
The two sides also discussed the Kingdom's efforts and international initiatives that will preserve the planet and contribute to sustainable development.
They also touched on the importance of strengthening joint coordination with regard to the United Nations Climate Change Conference to be held next November, and international efforts in this regard.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency the Director General of the Office of the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Cabinet Member Ambassador Khalid bin Musaed Al-Anqari.
