King Issues Royal Decrees

Riyadh, February 14. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued today a number of royal decrees on appointment and extension of services of ministers and officials.

The Council of Senior Scholars was reformed under the chairmanship of General Mufti of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh and will have the following members:

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has ordered extension of the following who are occupying the excellent grade:

1- Dr Salih bin Fozan al-Fozan, the regular member of the permanent committee for research and fatwa, an affiliate of the commission of the senior Ulema, effective from 03-03-1430 AH.

2- Dr Abdullah bin Abdulrahman al-Ghedeyyan, a regular member of the permanent committee for research and fatwa, an affiliate of the commission of the senior Ulema effective from 03-03-1430 AH

3- Dr Abdel-Wahab bin Ibrahim Abu Suleiman, the member of the Council of Senior Scholars, effective from 03-03-1430AH

4- Dr Ahmad Seir Mubaraki, the regular member of the permanent committee for research and fatwa, an affiliate of the Council of Senior Scholars.

5- Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Saad al-Khinein, the regular member of the permanent committee for research and fatwa, an affiliate of the Council of Senior Scholars, effective from 06-03-1430AH.

6- Dr Saad bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz al-Shithri, the regular member of the permanent committee for research and fatwa, an affilate of the Council of Senior Scholars, effective from 06-03-1430AH.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz has ordered appointment of Dr Salih bin Abdullah bin Humeid as Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council at the rank of the minister, effective from 03-03-1430 AH.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has ordered appointment of Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz al-Colleyia as chairman of the Supreme Court at the rank of minister effective from 03-03-1430 AH.

A royal decree has been issues today to appoint Sheikh Abdullah Suleiman Al Munea; Abdulmohsen Nasir Al Obeikan as Advisors to the Royal Court at the rank of minister, also to appoint Abdullah Mohammed Al Mutlaq as an advisor to the Royal Court as well as continue his career as full timer at the Permanent Committee for Scholarly Research and Ifta' an affiliate of Council of Senior Scholars.

A royal decree also been issued today to relieve Dr. Abdullah bin Salih Al Obaid, The Minister of Education from his ministerial post upon his request and to appoint Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saud as Minister of Education

A royal decree has been issued today to formulate the Supreme Judicial Council as follows:

Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim bin Abdulaziz Al-Issa, Deputy Chief of Grievances Court, has been relieved of his post and has been appointed Minister of Justice effective from 3/3/1430H.

Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Manie, the Minister of Health, has been relieved of his post upon his request.

Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah has been appointed Minister of Health.

Iyad bin Amin Madani, the Minister of Culture and Information has been relieved of his post upon his request.

Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja has been appointed Minister of Culture and Information.

Noora bint Abdullah bin Musaed al-Fayez to be appointed as deputy minister of education for girls affairs at the excellent rank.

Dr Saeed bin Mohammed al-Mileis, the deputy minister of education for boys affairs to be relieved at his own request, and Dr Khalid bin Abdullah bin Ibrahim al-Sabti to be appointed as deputy minister of education for boys affairs at the excellent rank.

A Royal decree has been issued today relieving Turki Khalid Al Sudeiri from his current post as Chairman of the Saudi Commission for Human Rights upon his request and appointing Bandar Mohammed Abdullah Al Aiban as President of Human Rights Commission.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has issued a Royal decree appointing Dr Mohammed bin Suleiman bin Mohammed al-Jasser as governor of the Saudi Arabian monetary agency (SAMA) at the rank of minister effective from 3-3-1430.

A royal decree has been issued, relieving Dr. Adnan Mohammed Abdulaziz Alwazan, Director of Um AlQurra University from his post upon his request and appointing Dr. Waleed Husein Mohammed Abu AlFaraj, as Director of Um AlQurra at the excellent Rank.

A royal decree has been issued, relieving Shiekh Dr. Abdulaziz Mohamed Al Abdul Munem, The Secretary General of the Council of Senior Scholars upon his request and appointing Sheikh Dr. Fahd Saad Al Majed as Secretary General of Council of Senior Scholars with excellent Grade.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has issued a Royal decree appointing Dr Mohammed bin Ahmad bin Abdul-Rahman al-Kanhal as executive president of the general commission for food and medicine at the excellent rank.

Lieutenant General Hussein bin Abdullah Al-Qabil, the Commander of Land Forces, has been appointed Deputy Chief of the General Staff.

Major General Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Murshid has been promoted to the rank of Commander of the Land Forces.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has issued a Royal decree, appointing Abdulaziz bin ali al-zubin and Fahd bin Abdullah al-Askar as advisors at the Royal Court with the excellent rank.

A royal decree has been issued, appointing Bandar Abdulmohsin Musaad Al Qanawi as CEO of The National Guards' Health Affairs at a rank of Excellent Grade.
