His Royal Highness Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, received at his office in Jeddah today (20-8-1433) Mr. David H. Petraeus, Director of U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and the accompanying delegation.
During the audience, Mr. Petraeus conveyed to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince the greetings and appreciation of U.S. President Barack Obama. In turn, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince sent his greetings to the U.S. President.
The CIA Director congratulated His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud on being selected as the Crown Prince.
He also offered his condolences on the demise of His Royal Highness Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States, as well as other matters of common concern.
