Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz receives Governor of Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah
Jeddah, July 6, 2010. Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, received here this evening Prince Abdulaziz bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah Region who was accompanied by the region's Council members.
At the outset of the meeting, Prince Naif lauded the role played by the regions councils in the Kingdom in the service of its citizens.
He urged for paying more interest to the health of citizens, noting the importance of issuing a health card for each citizen and urging the private sector to invest in health fields. He also emphasized the importance of other vital services, including electricity, water and transportation.
He quoted the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as urging for forwarding reports on the performance of regions councils including reports issued by the Control and Investigation Authorities.
